USED VS. NEW SCAFFOLDING

Whether it's a new warehouse or an existing warehouse being refitted – the choice between used and new warehouse racking has a direct impact on your costs, delivery time, and safety. Below, we explain the key differences so you can make an informed decision.

THE MAIN DIFFERENCES AT A GLANCE

Costs and Delivery Time

Used shelving units are often 30% to 50% cheaper and available for immediate delivery from stock. New shelving units offer customization but have a longer lead time of 2 to 8 weeks and a higher purchase price.

QUALITY AND CONDITION

New scaffolding is technically perfect and lasts for years. Used scaffolding may have minor signs of wear, but we inspect all materials for suitability for intensive use. Materials that do not meet our standards are not sold.

INSPECTION UPON PLACEMENT

For new and used shelving, a mandatory 0 inspection is required upon installation. If you purchase the materials from us and we handle the assembly, this inspection is included free of charge.

SUSTAINABILITY

Used scaffolding is a conscious sustainable choice: less CO2 emissions, material reuse, and circular entrepreneurship. Perfect for companies with CSR objectives.

Still in doubt?

Many companies are hesitant between saving costs with used materials or investing in new systems. The good news: we help you make the right choice based on your situation, budget, and timeline.

WE ARE HAPPY TO ADVISE YOU

Whether you choose used or new racking materials, we handle the entire process from advice to installation and inspection.
